Running AXYZ Router with Mach3 PLC Overview
This conversion outlines installing Mach3 Head Unit PLC (Personal Logic Computer) on an AXYZ 7012 with an OEM Breakout Board #XVXVXVX. This is a retro-fit solution and does not require removing any OEM computing hardware from the AXYZ Router. Instead, we will be adding a new Breakout Board (BOB), a desktop computer with a Pentium 4 CPU running Windows XP Pro and the Mach3 controller softeware.
Existing AXYZ 7012 Equipment:
- 2005 AXYZ 7012 with OEM Breakout Board #XVXVXVX
- Timberwood??? X2C Inverter for 10 HP spindle
- 10 HP Spindle with Air Controlled tool release
- ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) – This conversion omits the ATC and instead sets a tool change return position for a manual tool release and change by the operator.
